Considering QUITTING your job without another offer on the table?
You may want to reconsider for these 3 reasons…
1. Being employed provides greater salary negotiation opportunities.
2. Being employed makes you more marketable to recruiters.
3. Being employed can eliminate anxiety leading to a rushed decision.
I know, it’s not ideal. You want to leave your job, boss, location, whatever it is… Unless you are in a toxic work environment, I would urge you to wait it out.
Bottom Line: Job searching takes time. Don’t quit your job with bills to pay and expect to get hired a month later. It doesn’t always work out that way. Be patient and if possible, remain employed.
