Find the Direction of the Disc with 1 Sensors


There is a blank disc( like a cd). You are given two colors of paint (black and white) . A sensor can recognize the color painted on the disc and produce an output. Paint the disc in a way such that you can find the direction of rotation by looking at the output.

Answer: Paint like BWBWWBWWWB ...... 
How to generate two or more W ??? 
Sol : First paint whole disk in Black then After painting by W leave some space without paint. Again paint with W.

All bulb in sensor and if ( W = Bulb will glow, B = Bulb will be off )

  • If Bulb Glowing time increasing then Clock wise 
  • other wise Anti clock wise
