how to get job at Cognizant?

Getting a job at Cognizant, really depends on what you are actually doing ie. studying or working at a firm.

But for either of the two, using job portals ie. Monster (that’s where I got the call from) is the best bet.

Cognizant doesn’t advertise its job opportunities publicly unless that specific position has not been filled up by internal recruitment.

One of the easier ways is to contact a former or existing Cognizant employee, since they could refer you directly, since they have access to the referral portal within Cognizant.

Majority of the people I have worked with during my stint with them were from campus placements.

However if you are working at an existing firm, sharpen and hone your skills, and take up an emerging technology, since companies as big as these, are on the constant look out for people with new skills.

Remember-

1. Give your 95% for clearing written.
2. For technical, just be logical (for non-IT/CSE) or be confident in any one language (for IT/CSE).
3. Basic Data Structure Knowledge.
